Trap

Description:

Singles American Trap is shot 16 yards behind a trap house which throws targets away from the shooters. The targets are thrown at the same vertical height but oscillate laterally for either left, right, or straightaway targets. The 5 shooters stand at 5 stations and each takes a shot at a bird until they have each shot 5 birds at that station. Then they rotate to the next station, (1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 5, and 5 to 1). A round is 25 birds with one shot per target.

Rounds of Ammo per Match: 25 Use Target Loads only, no magnum load.

Firearm Required: Any shotgun designed for flight birds, trap or skeet, modified or full chokes are recommended.

Awards: No awards are given, however, a patch is provided to those that hit all 25 targets.
